Who Are We?

Darryl is from Buffalo, NY and comes from a family that loves and values music. He played piano and trumpet throughout high school, and even played the violin in the school orchestra for one year. He has studied the piano most extensively, and at one time was taking both classical and jazz piano lessons at the same time. He played in the jazz band, concert band, and marching band throughout high school. He continued to play during college while majoring in music for the first 2 1/2 years of undergraduate studies. He studied performance, theory, and big band arranging. However, his favorite thing was playing in bands in the local clubs of Buffalo.  

Cathy is from Canisteo, NY and also comes from a family that loves and values music. Her father played piano and many other instruments, and the whole family loved to sing. Cathy has spent much of her life singing, composing music, directing, and arranging choirs. She also loves to dance, owned and operated two dance schools for about 20 years, and has studied dance in NYC, Chicago, and California. While she still loves to dance, and loves to learn new things on the piano, percussion, guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and native american flutes; her favorite thing to do is write songs.
